Students of all ages are starting back to classes right about now. In particular, West Virginia University begins its fall semester today. College is a wonderful time for you to reimagine your life. The person you were before forms the basis for the person you are to become during what may be your first chance at independence.
I remember my first college semester with great fondness. Certainly, the direction my life would go was unpredictable as my 18-year-old self went to my first class that Monday morning.
Choose Your Happy is a blog about making the conscious decision to create happiness in every facet of life. Every day is a new chance for you to start class again, to start a new you, to reimagine your life.
Take a moment today to reflect on your life as it was before, during, and after college. Are you where you want to be? Are you headed in your intended direction? Are you stuck?
Don’t be afraid to reimagine your life.
Please take a moment to congratulate Kristyn Johnson of Williamson, West Virginia. Kristyn is the 2014 recipient of the Vivian C. Elkins Memorial Scholarship. The award is given to one female scholar athlete in Mingo county each year. Kristyn’s drive, character, and humble nature were just a few reasons why she was the unanimous choice of the scholarship committee. On behalf of the committee and my family, I wish you good luck today as you begin your life reimagined at West Virginia University! Congrats!
